Nestled in the heart of the countryside, in the village of Galgate our preschool offers a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where young children aged 2 - 4 years can explore, grow, and thrive. Surrounded by open space and natural beauty at Ellel Village Hall we embrace the benefits of outdoor learning and hands-on discovery in everything we do.
We understand the importance of accessible, high-quality early education. That’s why our preschool is affordable, with no added or hidden charges—everything your child needs throughout the day is included in our pricing and there are no additional charges if accessing Government funding
We operate during school term times, Monday - Friday 8.15am - 3.45pm, and are closed during holidays, following the local school calendar.
We warmly welcome you to visit us and discover a place where children can learn and grow in a caring, natural setting—free to be themselves, and supported every step of the way.

Lunches and Snacks
We make our snack times and meal times a social time when children and adults sit and eat together. We provide a snack during the morning session for which we plan menus that provide healthy and nutritious food and drink.
Lunch time is at 12noon, so your child will need to bring a packed lunch with them if they attend for an afternoon session or a full day. We ask that lunch boxes are packed with healthy foods and ask that they do not contain sweets or fizzy drinks.
Fresh drinking water is available throughout the day and we ask that children bring a water bottle to Preschool that they can leave here.
Our Enrolment Form asks for details of any food allergies or intolerances, so that we can plan accordingly for each child.
